27 May Summer! w00t!It's about damn time that summer is almost here. It's been a long year of school, and unfortunately, I still do have 7 days left. The plus side is, NO finals! Due to the flooding two weeks ago, we had a whole week off from school, so the administration decided that we should learn instead of taking the finals. SHYA...RIGHT! 27 April 2006 FIFA World CupTo be completely honest, I don't even particularly like soocer. I never ever liked soccer and I never ever bought a soccer game for any console ever. Well, I decided i'd roll the dice and pick up 2006 FIFA World Cup on Xbox 360 (duh!).
Well, this game turns out to exceed my expectations by far, and I
actually love this game. The gameplay is just unbelieveably fun for me,
which may be just because I never owned a soccer game before, but
still, this is shocking. I mean, this game just seems flawless. The
crowds make the game seem so real because they actually get loud!
The graphics are just very smooth and clear. There is so much to do on
this game. Seriously, pick this game up if you're getting bored with
the games you have right now. 04 April Trade Your Games - For Different Ones!Personally, I wouldn't even think about trading in any of my games to any stores like GameStop/EB Games because as we all know, they are a complete ripoff. I used to just keep all of my games, but with Xbox 360 games being $10 more, they have honestly put a pretty decent dent in my wallet. I mean, it might not look like much, but basically, for every 5 Xbox 360 games you have bought, you could've got 6 Xbox games. Anyways, there is a simple solution to this. I have come across a site a month or so ago called www.GameTZ.com. I have been able to trade some Xbox 360 games that I have beaten to death, such as King Kong, Need for Speed Most Wanted, and Madden 06, and I have gotten games that I haven't played in return. I just thought it would be nice to share this wonderful site with you all. Enjoy. www.GameTZ.com 01 April Top 5My top 5 favorite Xbox 360 games to date: 5. NBA 2k6 - I think this game deserves to be recognized since it's actually the only decent sports port. The gameplay is actually still good (unlike Madden) and they still managed to have a fair update in graphics for the most part. 4. Condemned: Criminal Origins - Great story, great gameplay. What else is there to say? 3. Elder Scrolls Oblivion - Morrowind was an awesome game, and Oblivion followed right in its footsteps. I think this game has honestly attracted a lot of people to the Xbox 360. Sure, it's on PC, but you better have a damn kickass PC to run this game. 2. Call of Duty 2 - God bless Infinity Ward for the patch. This game is spectacular now that there is some solid multiplayer. Excellent game all around. 1. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter - The single player is surprisingly somewhat interesting for once. The multiplayer, of course, is godly. I really don't understand how people cannot like the multiplayer on this game. Yeah, sure, there are some connection dropping problems, but it's not too hard to quickly find a new server. When it comes down to it, this game ended up like I said. The hype was huge, but day by day, more people leave with the true Ghost Recon players remaining. Oh, it's true. 04 March Now I Am Ready...Of course, there is an enormous hype over Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. Being a huge Ghost Recon fan since the original, I am unbelieveably pumped for this game. Well, then again, I have been pumped for this game since about the middle of last year when I actually went to the store to preorder it considering at that time it was to be a launch game. Now, I know for a fact that a few months ago, no one gave a damn about this game. Honestly, I do not think many people would have really given a shit about this game if it had not been delayed. With a drought of games for the Xbox 360, everyone is begging for pretty much any new game they can get their hands on. This was exactly what happened with Fight Night Round 3. All everyone talked about through January was Fight Night. You could not even take a look at the Xbox forums without someone mentioning something about Fight Night. People that have never touched a boxing game in this life were even looking forward to this game. See any similarities with Ghost Recon yet? Now that Fight Night has been out for almost two weeks, you will hardly see any posts about Fight Night. It came, it went. No doubt, Fight Night is a great game, but it is nothing that amazing. The point is, I do not think Ghost Recon will live up quite to the hype that it has right now, for a lot of people. Sure, many will love it, but i'd estimate about almost half the people that buy it will throw it down after a week or two. If you haven't played much Ghost Recon before, I doubt that is going to change for you. 12 February Fight Night, Where Art Thou!?I am seriously getting extremely bored of the current Xbox 360 games that I own. I have played them to shit for about 3 weeks. Yeah, sure, there are some games such as Need For Speed that i'm still working on, but that never lasts me any more than about a half hour of play per sitting. You know you need a really good game when every game you see that you haven't played looks appealing to you. However, I am basically in debt right now with my parents because of my TV. I already just paid off a large chuck of what I owe, but I have a bit to go leaving me no money to buy any games. I'm currently trying to work out some trades for a couple Nintendo DS games on GameTZ.com, but so far that's not going over very well just yet. I do have just enough for one 360 though, but I am obviously waiting for Fight Night Round 3. I need this game so badly right now to revive me from my severe Xbox 360 bordem. 10 February Free iPods!Okay, so I finally decided to try this thing since lately i've heard from several people that it really works. I figured what do I have to lose, right?
Well, of course the toughest thing to do is get 8 referrals. So, I am asking if you would like to try to get a free iPod, you should really try this thing and use my referral to help me too. Or you can just be a nice person and follow my referral then complete an offer! I know everyone hates to have to complete an offer, but really, it's nothing. I suggest getting the offer with the RealArcade Trial because all you have to do is complete that offer then cancel your subscription so you don't even have to worry about it charging to your credit or debit card. Please help me out. I really want an iPod, of course, but i'm curious to see if this really works. Well here is my referral link if you decide to help me: http://premiumipods.freepay.com/?r=27287077 08 February Long Time No Post..It has been quite some time since I have posted on here, as you may have noticed. Well, basically I have just been extremely busy with school and playing Xbox 360, of course. However, I can't really say i've been actually playing that much 360, as in 360 games. I have found myself going back to the games I love such as Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow. Personally, I just haven't found a game for Live on 360 that is really that addictive. Sure, Perfect Dark Zero has some fun gametypes and whatnot, but I just really haven't all that much desire to play the game unless I have a couple friends on that are playing it. Other than that, I had been playing Quake 4 online, but that does get boring especially considering at times you have to sit there for up to 30 minutes before the game actually starts. Hopefully when Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter hits the shelves on March 9th, my Xbox 360 Live playing will be revived. 30 January Gamerpics - Freebies? It just occured to me that Microsoft has packaged some marketplace gamerpics together. I just purchased a rhino squad gamertag pic from the marketplace since I decided that I really like Quake 4 now after beating the game and playing online. I noticed as I scrolled through my gamerpics to pick out the one I just bought that there were four other Quake 4 gamerpics that you'd normally have to buy for 20 marketplace points a piece. I honestly didn't really think much of it until I read a post about another fellow gamer buying an Amped 3 gamerpic that came with the whole set, just for the price of one! Microsoft giving out some free stuff.... ...I would've never guessed. 28 January Full Auto DemoAfter a long wait for the download to finish, I finally was able to play the Full Auto demo. I honestly wasn't truly looking forward to playing this demo, so that's why I just downloaded it earlier on today. Overall, I can't say I was all that impressed. There were definitely some nice crash and flip effects, but nothing that I haven't really seen before. The gameplay was pretty neat for a little while, but not something that I'd be interested in playing over and over. Maybe in the future when the full game comes out, i'll rent it, and hopefully it will appeal to me a lot more than this demo did. Though, i'm certainly not getting my hopes up. First impressions are very important to me, and this one failed in that category. Peace. 27 January Why Hello ThereR E V E R S 3 Pronunciation Key: [ ri-vûrs' ] Now that that is cleared up, I'd like to say welcome to my new "space." Well, I was thinking that my first blog post would be just a general introduction of myself, to you. Of course, I have plenty to things to talk, whine, and scream about, but what would that matter if you have no idea who I am? Well to cut to the chase, my real name is Eddie, hence my old gamertag was "EddieD," I'm currently 16 years old and I live in Massachusetts. Now, I know how a lot of people like to introduce themselves by saying they're a gamer when it is blatantly obvious, but if I was to say that about myself, you would think i'm an idiot, so I won't. My first console was that loveable handheld...GameGear. Surprised you, didn't I. I tore it up on that for years until I actually got a Playstation. Now, you're probably thinking I was flat out deprived of my old school Sega and Nintendo days, but don't have a heart attack on me. I got plenty of plenty of time on those bad-boys without even having to own them initially. Then, it just went from there all the way until the newbie in town, Xbox 360. Now for my life story... |
